papersweeties inspiration12 Paper Sweeties October #12 Inspiration Challenge!

Isn't she just adorable, and I just love the color combo that was chosen to go along with it!! I have been wanting to make a card all month with this photo as my inspiration, but this has been a very busy month-(and I keep wondering where it went-HA!).

So, this morning, I set my alarm for really early, so that I could get up with fresh mojo, and get it done before I left for work!

Here is what I came up with (at the wee hours) LOL!

Recipe:
Paper Sweeties: Sweet Little "Emma" die and stamp, "Dream A Little Dream" clothing stamp
Stampin' Up: "Spooky Bingo Bits" (trick/treat bag), "Mixed Medley" (treats for Boo), "Jack of All Trades" (witch hat), Brown Sugar ink
Papertrey Ink:  Cover Plate: Quatrefoil Die Mat Stack 4 Die
Misc: Brown Crinkle Seam Binding Ribbon, jute

I hope you enjoyed my cute little witch. Now head on over to Paper Sweeties challenge (you only have a couple days left to play along).

Have a great day-

The Shabby Tea Room #190 "Pumpkins and Spice"

Hello There Friends-

(sorry this is late, my internet was down)!

This week at The Shabby Tea Room, Debbie is Challenging us with this yummy inspiration photo, and asks that we use pumpkins and glitter to create a card/project!

Our sponsor this week is The Cutting Cafe

The Cutting Cafe

The Cutting Cafe carries affordable cutting files and printable stamps. They have a huge selection for many occasions!
For my project, I chose to use a "Pumpkin Treat Box," from the Cutting Cafe.

I just love this time of year, with all the colors, and festivities, it brings such warmth and joy! So, for my project, I made this cute little treat box to give to one of my co-workers! I hope she likes it as much as I enjoyed making it!

I used Stampin' Up's "Heat and Stick" powder and then orange and brown glitter to cover a piece of cardstock and then punched the little scallop circles and the orange scallop edge. I also used some Papertrey Ink Leaf shape dies to cut my leaves and then stamped them with some random designs with Brown Sugar Ink from Stampin' Up. I just love the effect and how this little project came together!

Take a peek at what the rest of the Shabby Girls have come up with this week over at The Shabby Tea Room!  Don't forget, you only have the rest of this week to play along, so don't delay, put on your thinking cap and get those crafty fingers busy!

See you later-Have a great week

The Shabby Tea Room #189 "Fall Florals"

Hello There Friends-

Wow, where is October going! It's running fast-with me trying to stay ahead of the game-Ha!

Anyway, this week in The Shabby Tea Room, Tina has challenged us with this beautiful Fall inspiration photo! Wouldn't you just love to be on your daily run/walk and see this alongside the path? I know I would!

With this inspiration photo as a base to begin your mojo flowing, she asks that we use Fall Florals on our project/card.

This weeks sponsor is:

They have great templates to use as a base for your projects! Take a peek, by clicking on their name just above!

For my project/card this week, I used the template "Carry All Box." It is a really cute little box that will hold treats, or a simple set of 3x3 cards. I chose to make a gift card to insert inside my box with some little candies!

I just love the way it turned out with the cream pumpkin and the fall colors!

Take a look at the other DT members creations over at The Shabby Tea Room, and play along this week for some Fall fun!

Paper Sweeties Baby Blog Hop

Hello Friends-

Hope you are having a sunny, creative weekend! The weather here in Northern California is absolutely beautiful this weekend! I have spent my weekend playing tennis, cropping with my mom and sister, and of course the dreaded household tasks of groceries, laundry and household chores that we must all face! But, even with that the weather has made the task uplifting!

Last night I made a card to enter into the Paper Sweeties Baby Blog Hop.

babybloghop Paper Sweeties Baby Blog Hop!

One of the Design Team members Jinny is blessed to be having another baby, and what a better way to celebrate with those of us not so close, but to have a blog hop to wish her well! As I have four wonderful children and now their other halves and 7 grand children, I know all too well what lies ahead for her (happiness and joy of being a parent, friend, and grandparent)! :) Congrats Jinny!

Here is my card I made for her to wish her all the happiness and joy life will bring!

The papers I used are from Bella Blvd. "Baby Boy" collection and the stamps are from Papertrey Ink! I so wanted to use Paper Sweeties product, buuuuutttt......hmmmm.didn't have any little boy items! I know what I have to put on my wish list! :)

Join the fun over at Paper Sweeties (you have until the 30th of Oct.) and take a look at what the Design Team members have created to wish Jinny and family congrats!

Have a great Sunday-

Hi there friends-

Sorry this is late posting! My blog and I had a glich last night apparantly, and it didn't post on the scheduled time zone this morning as planned. Will have to figure that one out?

This week, Linda has asked us all to create a card/project with this beautiful inspiration photo. I just love the warm cozy feel this photo gives me as I look at it.

With this photo in mind, Linda also asks us to INCLUDE A FALL THEME, PUMPKINS AND A STAMPED SENTIMENT!

Our sponsor this week is Janet from

For my card, I used her digital collage paper
"Autumn Wind Set"
I just love this little girl with her wind blown hair and the leaves and acorns swirling about!

Happy Monday Friends-

I sure hope you all had a fabulous sunny weekend. It was absolutely georgeous, here in Northern California.

So, this week, at The Shabby Tea Room, Leslie has challenged us with a sketch.

I decided to use fall colors, because I absolutely love fall and all the elements that fall provides, from the seasonal colors, weather, and all the outdoor fun that goes along with this season.

I colored little Abigail with my Copic Markers and paper pieced her clothing and socks/shoes. I put brads in where the stamped buttons were-just love how she turned out-fun, fun!!

Our sponsor this week is Paper Sweeties. If you haven't been to Debbie's little shop to see the cute stamps and dies, then you must hurry on over-they are very cute, and oh so fun to play with! I am loving them!!
