Hello There

Hi Friends-

Spending a quiet, rainy Easter with my husband. I snuck away for a few minutes to create a fun little card that I have been thinking about for a while now-so what a perfect day to put it together!

I embossed a sheet of Papertray Ink's "Vintage Cream" cardstock with Stampin' Up's "Honeycomb" textured embossing folder. Then, I cut it with  "Labels 14" Spellbinders Nestability. I then cut each cut each of the little hexagons by hand from My Minds Eye paper pad, and glued them in place on the label. I inked all edges of papers. The tissue flower was made with "Dahlia" Spellbinders Nestability. The brown tulle is from Stampin' Up and the little tag and "hello there," are from Papertray Ink.
Such a fun little card to make, a little tedious, but I love how it turned out!

Have a Happy Easter and a Fabulous week-

Here Comes the BUNNY!

I love Spring! I can't wait to take pictures this year of my grandkids hunting the eggs. I made a simple layout to add those fun pictures to using "Doodlebug Designs-Hello Spring!" line of papers. I love the bright colors and fun little elements that were available in this line!

It will be at "Rock, Paper, Scissors". I am hoping to make a couple of kits for this layout. If you are interested, contact Misty at the store!

The medallion is made with a die from Stampin' Up! If you would like to purchase this die, you can contact me, and I will get one ordered for you! I also used a scallop and circle punch and button from Stampin' Up!

The pink tag was made with a die from "Papertray Ink," and the buttons were also from "Papertray Ink." The little duck, carrot and chick tags were from the paper collection!

So much fun to use this bright, cheery paper line! Next weekend, my camera will be aimed and ready to get those memories of egg collecting doucmented!

Have a great week-Heidi

Documented Memories

Hi Friends-

Each month the Design Team at Rock, Paper, Scissors are given paper to design a project with. This month we were given paper from the "We Are Memory Keepers-For the Record" line. I love this lines vintage look! I made a two page layout for my contribution, and I can't wait to find or take just the right photos for it.

The Flower was made with a burlap premade flower from Rock, Paper, Scissors. I added some die-cut tissue paper flowers, a die-cut felt flower, and some punched circles and scallop circles, tulle and twine. I love making flowers, and this one grew quite large, but I loved the look when I finished!

This line, like all of the "We Are Memory Keeper" lines, has some great tags and added features that are fun to add to a layout. I added a few of the elements to this layout and also a stamped bicycle from "Unity" stamps.

Enjoy and have a great weekend!
Heidi

Cute as a Button

Hi Friends-

It's been a while, since my last post-so sorry! I have been busy creating for our local scrap store,  Rock, Paper, Scissors, working and had family here for a visit also! :)

After a very busy last couple of weeks-I needed some down time, and what better way to have down time for me, than to create with my paper and goodies! I used "Simple Stories-Baby Steps" papers. I just love Simple Stories papers-such vintagy goodness!

Have a great weekend-Heidi
