I put together a very quick card this afternoon to enter in Papertrey Ink's "Make-It-Monday" weekly challenge. This week Laurie Wilson has shown how to mask around the edges of your card making a quick technique to make a border around your card. It is a very simple idea, and yet one that provides a nice frame for the card background. If you are not familiar with this technique, check out her video here.
After masking off my card edges, I used Papertrey's Premium Ink colors of Mint Julep, Vintage Jadeite, and Green Parakeet. The flower is made with Berry Sorbet and Hibiscus Burst felt, and I used Simply Chartreuse for the leaves. The flower die I used is, Beautiful Blooms 2 Die Set, and Lovely Layers. For the wording, "Be Fearless," I used the stamp and die from the Be set.
This was a relaxing and fun card to make. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it!
