MIA-WOW! Let's Get Caught Up

Hello Friends-

Wow-I know, I have been MIA for a little over a month! So, here is the scoop-"I definately HATE technology at times!" My computer is down, and I have had to find other ways of posting to The Shabby Tea Room Design Team challenges. I know everyone is tired of my asking if I can come and borrow their computer for a minute, while I send off my project to Debbie and post on our DT blog! Thanks DT members and Debbie for being understanding and patient with me!

So, I want to get you all caught up with all my past projects to date!  You can click on ea. challenge title to go to that weeks challenge and see all the DT projects, along with the guest designer for the week and the inspiration photo!  ENJOY!!

Challenge #196- "Noel"

I gave this card to my mom for Christmas. It is one of my favorites that I have done in a while! I love the colors and the digi from Janet was perfect! Debbie was the hostess for this challenge and the theme was "Noel." She asked us to use buttons and polkadots.

This little gingerhouse was created with a digi cut file from AR Creations. It was fun to create and I enjoyed having it on my mantel at Christmas! Aneta was the hostess for this challenge and she asked us to use the theme "Sweet Christmas" with a digi file from AR Creations, red, white, gingham and gingerbread.

I love the soft colors of this card. I was the hostess for this challenge. My theme was "A few of my favorite things." I asked the DT to use buttons, snowflakes, silver and white! I used a texture paste and plate to get the background design on my card. This is a fun technique that makes like a suede type feel to the card-love it!

Happy New Year!
Lesley was the hostess for this challenge and she chose a "Color Challenge" as the theme. She asked us to use the colors: black, kraft and vanilla, and a digi cut file from the Cutting Cafe.  I love the elements of my card!

Linda was the hostess for this challenge, and she chose the theme, "So Romantic." She asked us to use Paper Sweeties products, and include roses. I chose to use paper with roses printed on it, rather than adding a rose flower. I added a cute little flower to little Abigail.

Tina was the hostess this time around, and her theme was a sketch. She asked us to use the sketch, along with the inspiration photo. The sponsor for this challenge was Ribbon Carousel. I was soooo, ready for some fun colors of pinks, reds, white and black. So, I made a vintagy valentine card! I love how it turned out!

Debbie was the hostess for this challenge. Her theme was "Baby, It's cold outside!" The inspiration photo was a door with a wreath and ice skates. I mimicked it somewhat, and love how it came together! (Sure wish we had some VERY much NEEDED rain and cold weather here in Northern CA). We are now under a drought and have been having Red Flag Warning Days for fire watch! Man, its January people!!! Pray for RAIN!!!!!
Debbie asked us to use white, green, silver, a red bow, and a digi file from Bugaboo.

So now, you are all caught up (or rather I am!) Thanks for hanging in there with me, and I am hoping to be able to post more regularly, as I am hoping to get a computer in the next week or so!

Make sure to check out "The Shabby Tea Room" blog and play along with us each week in the weekly challenge! We have a blast, and love seeing all your creative work.

Have a GREAT weekend, (I am enjoying out 85 degree weather and playing lots of tennis)!
