Card Class-Kits for sale
I can't believe how time is passing me by-where has it gone? I have sold the store-"Scrappin' Friends." I am going back to teaching (this summer a Kindergarten Readiness Program at Turtle Bay Elementary and in the fall, I will be the Director of a new Pre-K program at Turtle Bay). I am very excited about this new adventure, and look forward to getting back into the classroom again. Even though, I will miss your visits to me at the store, I will be seeing you at various scrapbook adventures in town. I am hoping to continue teaching card classes and other various classes as well in the future.
I wanted to pass along this fun card class that I did just this last week. We had a great time, and it was fun to be able to see friends that I have made while at the store. I still have a couple of kits for these cards, so if you are interested, you can contact me at: scrappinfriends.redding@yahoo.com

I used the new "Stella and Rose" paper line from My Minds Eye. Love that company and this paperline definately doesn't dissappoint-so many fun patterns and colors that all coordinate!

Use it Tuesday Challenge
Use it Tuesday's challenge this week is to use ribbon (or anything you can tie). I use ribbon almost always, so I thought it would be fun to use something just a little different. I used jute twine to tie knots onto my owl card. This is just another fun way to add a little something extra to a card.
Enjoy-take a peek at what the other gals are doing with ribbon at: http://useittuesday.blogspot.com
Happy craftin!

iCopic Weekly Challenge #25
Hi Friends- This week, I am playing along with iCopic's challenge (http://. They are challenging us to color an embellishment (using copics)! What a fun challenge, and for those of you who don't know-you can use your copic markers to color embellishments to match your papers. It's a great way to get all mixy-matchy (is that a word? LOL)!

Recipe:
Here's my take on this challenge:

I colored the flower with RV 42, RV 23, and RV24, RV 25 and then stickled the edges with Stardust.
I also colored the buttons and the pin head with RV25.
The stamped image is Ruby from MO's Digital Pencil Shop.
